How long will I have to prepare for my interview?
You have as long as you need but we suggest you give yourself at least 2 weeks. As soon as you have booked you will have access to our questionnaires. This information will ensure key memories are included and are chronologically correct. As a result of all this planning, you will feel far more relaxed knowing we are both thoroughly prepared for your recording.
How often will we speak before the interview?
From experience, we will need to speak at least twice. It is important that we have understood the structure of your memories correctly and fully prior to the day of recording. Of course, you can call us anytime if you have any questions.
Will you include music in my recording?
We would love you to select music to be included throughout your recording, as we feel it really helps bring your stories to life but if you’d prefer not to have music, that’s fine too. However, a short musical clip will be played at the beginning and end of the interview.
Is payment required in full?
We ask for 50% deposit at the booking stage. This will give you access to the members area, The remaining payment will be paid in full anytime prior to the interview.
How far will you travel?
We are based in London but we are happy to pack our bags and go anywhere. Additional travel costs can be discussed when you book.
How long will the interview last?
There is no set time and we won’t be rushing you. We want you to feel completely relaxed and enjoy recalling your memories. In our experience, interviews tend to last between 90 and 150 minutes.
Will you edit the interview?
Absolutely. Editing is the longest stage and we take a lot of care making sure it’s as perfect as it can possibly be. We are perfectionists and want you to receive a fully edited quality product. We remove the ‘ums’, ‘errs’ and pauses, where we can. We also remove the repetitive bits, whilst making sure we keep your personality and stories . We then add snippets of music. We can’t always remove external noises, but we do our best.
How long before I receive the finished recording?
You will receive your fully edited recording within 6 weeks of the interview.
What will I receive?
A personalised memory stick, beautifully packaged, sent to you via recorded delivery.
Will I be able to order extra copies?
Yes of course, you can order extra copies at any time.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Please let us know if you need to change the date of your interview. We do ask for at least 48 hrs notice if you need to postpone for any reason.
